Payoneer is blocking accounts

Just found this thread by djroof on Medium Pimpin:

So I decided today log in at my [Payoneer] account for a transfer. But my account blocked!

I talk with live chat and agent told me that the company which opened my account must sent me payment so to reopen account again. ONLY the company which opened my account which is PussyCash.

Btw I waiting payments from another sponsor and told me that this doesn’t counts…

So? what to do now? I think to change all my payments to Paxum.

In the end he got his payoneer account unlocked with some help from PussyCash – but that’s still a show stopper for me. I haven’t been using Payoneer so far – and after reading this I’m sure I never will.

How about you? Any similar stories?

  1. Hi,

My name is Nissim, I’m a Community Manager at Payoneer. I just wanted to point out that the account in question was disabled to to an extended period of inactivity.

When a Payoneer account is completely inactive for periods exceeding 9 months, the card is temporarily disabled. However, all payment methods linked to the Payoneer account are kept active, and the account can continue to receive payments. Once a new payment is received, the account is then re-enabled (at no cost).

If anyone has any questions regarding inactive account, I’d be more than happy to address them.

  2. @Nissim,

Is there a reason why you do that? I have never seen a bank or payment provider disable accounts just because they have been inactive for some months.

If there is money in that account you’ll have to expect that the owner is going to want it at some moment in time.

  3. I got that “Card is temporarily disabled” email, so I spent the rest of the day changing ALL of my sponsors over to Paxum.

    FUCK YOU PAYONEER!
